D-4990 Low Energy Operator

The D-4990 Low Energy Operator offers the newest and most convenient features to gain safe access for ADA applications. Used with electric latch retraction exit devices, electric strikes and other electric locking systems. A time delay function is integrated into the control system. The D-4990 Series eliminates the need for supplemental relays or controls.

Touch Free

Virtually any form of wireless (and hardwired) “knowing act” actuator can be used to initiate the operator, making integration with existing systems easier.

Out-of-the-box ready

Configured to activate and open based on a slight movement of the door.

Hold-open timer

Allows the door to be held in the open position up to 28 seconds, far exceeding the ANSI/BHMA A156.19 requirement.

Visible

Illuminated to be visible; switch controls power the operator motor.
